Take in the colors, trees, and fresh air on a guided walk through the on site private forest. Learn to identify native and invasive plant species, and harvest forest plants for the craft activity.

After your walk, come to your family's private activity space and finish your forest crafts to take home.
Earn a Friend of the Forest Certificate
Upon completion of the guided walk and craft, earn the Friend of the Forest Certificate demonstrating you've learned what it takes to live in harmony with nature.

Email info@mountvirginia.com to cancel for a full refund anytime 72 hours before your scheduled field trip.
What do i need to Bring?
The only thing you need to bring are shoes comfortable to walk on maintained forest paths.
